Newly Refurbished, Looking Incredible...
- OVERVIEW
Presenting HMV FORUM
Built in 1934 as an art deco cinema but later transformed into a popular live music venue. In 2008, a £1.5m 2 stage refurbishment of the interior started, covering the restoration of original features inside the building coupled with the installation of a state of the art new sound system and new lighting systems. The renowned Grade II-listed HMV Forum situated in Kentish Town is a tasteful mixture of original features combined with modern elements, making this venue an excellent event space.
The main space is used for concerts from rock through to hip hop and heritage acts. The new fully seated option allows for comedy performances and film screenings.
Stage 3 of the refurbishment has been set for January 2010 with all the exterior stained glass windows being restored as well as the front and side of the buildings fascia.
